CONRAC (RITC) Garage/Replacement Parking
The project includes a 3-level, 1,100-1,500 stall parking garage (structural steel frame/metal pan deck on piles foundation) that will serve as a consolidated rental car facility at Burbank (Bob Hope) Airport. The complex project will consist of the CONRAC garage and a bus transit station to be built on existing surface parking and linked by a peoplemover (1,400 ft.). The facility will have QTA operations and refueling capabilities at each level. A second parking structure (4 levels/450 spaces/post-tensioned concrete) for general public use will also be
delivered under the same construction contract. A pedestrian bridge link (1200 l.ft.) over North Empire Avenue is also part of the first phase. -

Team Disney Re-roof – Expansion Joint RestorationTeam Disney Burbank Burbank, California, has served as the corporate headquarters of The Walt Disney Company since 1991. In January 2006, the site was rechristened Team Disney – The Michael D. Eisner Building in honor of former Disney CEO Michael Eisner. Michael Graves designed the building, which features large figures of the dwarves from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs on its facade. This building was featured in the 1996 film Spy Hard, a Disney release.
Architectural Accent was asked to provide design and technical assistance for the new roof membrane and waterproofing expansion joint systems.
Working with Fibertite Roofing, Hunter Panels (Rigid Tapered Design), Watson Bowman (Expansion Joint Covers) and Situra (Waterproofing Expansion Joint Seals), this project was successfully completed in December 2010.
